Philip Nam

Philip Nam is an acclaimed civil and commercial litigation and disputes lawyer, with over 16 years of experience. He has particular expertise in commercial law, landlord and tenant disputes, bankruptcy and debt, consumer law, and Small Claims Court.

He is regularly instructed as a Court advocate, representing both claimants and defendants in Court on a regular basis (116 hearings in 2025). Philip is a Professional Paralegal Practitioner and was a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals and Tier 4 Member of the Professional Paralegal Register (prior to their acquisition by CILEX). Philip also holds a Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law & Practice.

In 2023, Philip won both the National Paralegal of the Year Award and Best Litigation Paralegal at the PPR National Paralegal Awards that celebrate the achievements of paralegals in the UK. He also won Civil Litigation Paralegal of the Year in 2020 and was Highly Commended in the categories of Best Litigation Paralegal and National Paralegal of the Year at the 2022 NPA Awards.
